Alexander Hacke is a German musician and composer, best known as a long-standing member of the Berlin industrial group Einstürzende Neubauten, where he played bass guitar and contributed to the band's experimental sound. Together with Danielle de Picciotto he forms the duo Hackedepicciotto, exploring drone collages and electronic rhythms. He is also the author of the book Krach.
