Bohumil Kafka

About

Bohumil Kafka (1878–1942) was a Czech sculptor associated with Symbolism and Expressionism. He studied at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts and became known for his monumental sculptures and portrait busts. His most celebrated work is the equestrian statue of Jan Žižka on Vítkov Hill in Prague, one of the largest bronze equestrian statues in the world.
