Christian Friedrich d'Elvert (1798–1896) was a Brno historian, politician and mayor, descended from French émigrés. He served as a member of the Moravian Diet and played an active role in public life. He is notably remembered for initiating the afforestation of the Špilberk castle hill in Brno.
