David Benda is a Czech multi-instrumentalist, singer, and music educator specialising in bluegrass and related genres. In 2020 he won the title of world champion on banjo at the World Virtual Bluegrass Banjo Contest. He is the main composer and driving force behind the formation David Benda & Sebastellar, which performs original music spanning bluegrass, rock, jazz, folk, and world music.
