František Ženíšek (1849–1916) was a Czech painter associated with historical and decorative painting of the 19th century. He is best known for his cycle of scenes from Smetana's opera Libuše and his contribution to the decoration of the National Theatre in Prague. His work is closely tied to the ideals of the Czech National Revival.
