Jack McDuff

About

Jack McDuff (1926–2001) was an American jazz organist and pianist, considered a pioneer of soul jazz. He became known for his distinctive Hammond organ sound and his collaboration with guitarist George Benson. His recordings from the 1960s for the Prestige label are regarded as classics of the genre.
