Jean-Luc Lagarce (1957–1995) was a French playwright, theatre director and founder of the Théâtre de la Roulotte company. He is regarded as one of the most important French dramatists of the 20th century, though wider recognition came only after his death. His play Juste la fin du monde is an autobiographical work exploring a man's return to his family and the secrets left unspoken.
