Jiří Kolář (1914–2002) was a Czech poet and visual artist, internationally known for his collages and the technique he called "rollage". Starting as an experimental poet, he turned increasingly to visual art from the 1950s onward. He was awarded a prize at the X Bienal de São Paulo in 1969. His works are held in major collections worldwide.
