Martin Kratochvíl is a Czech jazz pianist and keyboardist, founder and long-time leader of the group Jazz Q. The band is among the pioneers of jazz-rock and fusion in Czechoslovakia, active since the late 1960s. Kratochvíl is the composer behind most of Jazz Q's repertoire and a key figure in Czech jazz.
