About

Master Theodoric was a 14th-century Bohemian painter and court artist to Emperor Charles IV. He is regarded as one of the most important figures of Czech Gothic panel painting. His best-known work is a series of over 130 panel paintings created for the Chapel of the Holy Cross at Karlštejn Castle.
