Biennale Ve věci umění 2026
The fourth Ve věci umění biennale, subtitled Necessary Desires, brings contemporary art to three venues across Praha and Pardubice. Entry is free for the full duration of the exhibition.
Národní galerie Praha (National Gallery Prague) is the Czech Republic's foremost art museum, responsible for collecting and presenting fine art from the Middle Ages to the present day. It manages extensive collections of both Czech and international art and operates several permanent exhibitions across historic buildings throughout Prague.

Second session of a participatory art mediation series exploring portraiture and the depiction of humanity throughout history. Participants will engage with works from the 1796–1918 exhibition and share their own interpretations.

Prague's major museums open their doors free or at reduced admission for International Museum Day. Visitors can explore exhibitions at the National Gallery, Agricultural, Decorative Arts, and Technical museums, with guided tours and workshops throughout the day.
