Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK) is a Slovenian avant-garde art collective founded in Ljubljana in 1984. It brings together several groups, most notably the industrial band Laibach, the visual art group IRWIN, and the theatre company Noordung. NSK is known for its provocative use of totalitarian imagery and national symbolism, deliberately blurring the line between critique and appropriation of authoritarian aesthetics.
