Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. They rose to fame with their nu-metal and rap-rock sound, most notably the hit Last Resort from their debut album Infest (2000). The band remains active and is considered one of the defining acts of the early 2000s nu-metal scene.
