Talking Heads is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1975. They were pioneers of post-punk and new wave, known for blending rock with African rhythms, funk, and art-rock. Their acclaimed albums include Fear of Music (1979) and Remain in Light (1980). The band was fronted by singer and guitarist David Byrne.
