Tigran Hovakimyan - Tigran is in Town - Krnov

Tigran Hovakimyan is from Armenia, speaks four languages, and brings a diverse range of life and work experience. Before turning to stand-up comedy, he tried many professions — working as a kindergarten teacher, bartender, croupier, administrator at the Malaysian embassy, boxing trainer, and construction worker. Eventually he became an amateur actor in a children's theatre, where he learned to read an audience, respond to its energy, and work naturally with humour. From the children's stage, he moved to stand-up podiums, where he can rely only on himself.

In 2026, he embarks on his largest stand-up tour yet across the Czech Republic with the special "Tigran is in Town". At each show, a Czech stand-up comedian will open for him. The performance takes place at Kino Mír 70 on náměstí Míru 14 in Krnov — a historic building from 1903 with a capacity of over 318 seats and two wheelchair spaces. Free parking is available in front of the building.
