Robert Bellan: DEN BLBEC – a crime parody based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Major Vetchý and Lieutenant Teplý investigate the mysterious death of two Shakespearean characters – Tybalt and Mercutio.
Shakespeare's original Romeo and Juliet features 27 characters. This production is performed by just five actors – yet no well-known character is missing; in fact, two new main characters have been added.
