Nguyên Lê Saiyuki Trio

The closing concert of the Brno Music Marathon takes place on Sunday, 9 August 2026 at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Brno. Guitarist Nguyên Lê and his Saiyuki Trio present a project that bridges Japanese, Indian, and Vietnamese musical traditions with jazz and improvisation. This is the third and final Brno concert for the musician in August, following performances at Sono Music Club on 6 August and at Divadlo Husa na provázku on 7 August. The Saiyuki Trio draws inspiration from the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West and creates a unique dialogue between diverse cultural traditions and contemporary jazz.
