Shrek

Shrek, a green ogre with tentacles, lived quite alone but happily in his little house in the forest, until he was literally overwhelmed by endless crowds of familiar and lesser-known fairy-tale characters, banished from the kingdom of the unattractive and sour Lord Farquaad. In an effort to restore order and, above all, bring peace back to his home, Shrek promises Lord Farquaad that he will free the feared dragon's captive, the beautiful Princess Fiona, and bring her to him so she can become his wife. With the help of a clever donkey, willing to do anything for Shrek except stay quiet for even a moment, the ogre fulfils his promise, but then everything somehow gets strangely tangled, twisted, and complicated, so that in the end everything turns out completely and quite differently.
