Day of Private Castles and Chateaux – From Castle to Chateau: The Story of Líšno Residence and Čeněk Daněk

A costumed tour titled "The Story of Líšno Medieval Castle's Transformation" traces the development of the residence from its origins as a medieval fortress through 1872, when industrialist Čeněk Daněk purchased the estate. The tour explains how this entrepreneur shaped the castle into its present form, reflecting his engineering empire, details of his personal life, and what became of the business and residence after his death.

The narrative continues with the castle's fate after World War II and documents its gradual restoration to the present day. The tour begins in the castle courtyard.
