The Secret of the Owls

Nine-year-old Lucie arrives for summer holidays in Bectoile, where her mother Caro and her colleague Pierrot are conducting archaeological excavations. In the ancient town lies a long-hidden family secret, and Lucie and her friend Yann are determined to uncover it — guided by a mysterious pair of owls. Their journey leads from the cellars of an old Gothic castle to a forgotten caravan at the forest's edge.

The film was created using cut-out animation technique. The artists combined various materials — paper, fabrics, and delicate drawings — with every detail handcrafted and carefully finished.
