The Jewish cemetery in Opava is part of the municipal cemetery on Otická Street. This guided tour will present the fates of notable people buried here – including Max Breda, one of the founders of the BredaWeinstein department store, Rabbi Abraham Blüh of the Opava Jewish community, David Hatschek, owner of a jute factory, and the founders of Opava liqueur distilleries. The presentation will also cover vanished cemeteries in the city and Jewish customs and traditions.
