Images of Love is a multimedia interactive black light theatre performance that explores the many faces of love – from the first meeting of two people through the excitement of first dates and dance evenings to dreams with a many-armed goddess symbolizing the diversity of love and nightmares threatening the romantic magic of a couple. Audiences can actively participate in the emotions of the characters.
The performance is nonverbal, so no language barrier stands in the way. Elements of black light theatre are combined with film projections and visual effects.
The music features original compositions by director Theodore Hoidekr supplemented with world hits from artists such as Shakira, Sting, AC/DC and Coldplay, music from the film Dirty Dancing, and a mystical version of a choral song by the Koutev Bulgarian National Ensemble, for which HILT black light theatre obtained a special license.
