Weekend workshops for children aged 6 and up will introduce the basics of puppet theatre. Each participant will try operating different types of puppets and learn what it takes to make a puppet come alive convincingly on stage. What is a control bar, who is called the "speaker" in the theatre, and where does the operator's bridge stand – all of this will be explained by the instructor, puppeteer and member of the acting ensemble Karolina Fiala.
The workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes and its content always relates to the performance watched – each show has its own unique version.
