Diary for a Story

The 1950s. Aspiring writer Elias wants to experience "real life" among sailors, prostitutes, and gangsters in the port of Buenos Aires. He soon becomes a translator and correspondence advisor for local prostitutes, gaining a unique position in the neighborhood—until love for two women leads him to tragic catastrophe.

The film is based on the literary work of Argentine writer Julio Cortázar and is screened in the original Spanish version with Czech and English subtitles.
