False Note

A story with an intricate plot and escalating tension, in which the audience takes on the role of both witness and judge. The play raises the question of whether one can escape the past and move forward without punishment after committing dishonor and injustice.

A Shakespearean spirit reveals the sins of the past and tears away masks. We witness the psychological collapse of a man who must first save his reputation, then his own skin – and play a game imposed on him by his aggressor. But who is the real aggressor? A famous conductor and a mysterious visitor gradually uncover themes of responsibility, free will, and inevitability. A key line is Eichmann's "I was following orders," which the conductor attempts to use to justify his actions.
