I'm Not Everything I Want to Be

A documentary film about photographer Libuše Jarcovjáková traces her life from the underground of communist Czechoslovakia through fashion photography in Tokyo to her escape to West Berlin, where she witnessed the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Directed by Klára Tasovská, the film draws from thousands of analog photographs and pages of personal diaries. The film premiered at the Berlinale festival.
