Passenger

A young couple expecting a child decide to embark on one last adventure together before their third family member arrives – they rent a caravan and set out on a journey through rural America. Their peace is shattered when, in the middle of the night, they come across a fresh accident and stop to help. But the driver behind the wheel is beyond saving – and something else remains at the scene, still hidden.

At the campground where they spend the following night, they hear the legend of the Passenger – a terrifying ghost that haunts those who stopped in the middle of the forest, in the middle of the road, just like them. According to the legend, such unfortunate souls have no chance, and only a few hours or days of life remain.

It would be easy to dismiss it all if bad luck hadn't started to follow them, if the recurring horrifying visions could somehow be rationally explained, and if the closeness of death weren't so tangibly real.
