Schools – In the Footsteps of St. Agnes

An educational programme for pupils in grades 3–5 of primary school, focused on the life of St. Agnes of Bohemia. Children will learn who Agnes was, which noble family she belonged to, why she became a nun, and what life was like behind the monastery walls – not only during a guided tour with a lecturer, but especially through an independent treasure-hunt game.

The programme introduces pupils to elements of Romanesque and Gothic architecture and the different parts of the monastery. The visit may also include a tour of the newly opened gardens.
