The Kyjov Wine Festival (formerly Open Cellars of Kyjov) takes place in its 11th edition on Saturday, 13 June 2026 on Heroes' Square in front of Klvaň Gymnasium in Kyjov and in the adjacent municipal park. The event runs from 10:00 to 20:00. Fifteen wineries from the Kyjov region will participate, offering approximately 200 wine samples. They sell their wines through vouchers - so-called Kyjov crowns. Pre-sale tickets (until Friday, 12 June 2026) cost 300 CZK and include a wine glass, online catalogue, winemaker map, access to the cultural programme, and 10 wine vouchers (worth 100 CZK). Wine samples are not included in the admission price - they are paid separately with vouchers worth 10 CZK purchased at the ticket office. Tasting glasses are calibrated to 0.03 l. The folk programme on stage runs from 13:00 to 21:00 - featuring the Kyjovánek children's ensemble, the Kyjov Men's Choir, the Nětčice Men's Choir, the Sobůlek Men's Choir, the Želetice Men's Choir, and the Tragačnice Women's Choir; accompanied by the Hudci cimbalom band.
