Brazilian diatonic accordion virtuoso Roger Corrêa will perform his Czech premiere on 27 May 2026 in the grand hall of the Novoměstská radnice in Prague.

With his quartet – bassist Tiê Pereira, pianist Edilson Forte, and drummer Rodrigo Porciúncula – he will present music blending South Brazilian folk traditions, jazz improvisation, and classical music.

The concert is part of the Jazz Meets World series.

Novoměstská radnice (New Town Hall) is a national cultural monument on Karlovo náměstí in Prague 2 and one of the most important Gothic buildings of Prague's New Town. Its history dates to 1348, when Charles IV founded the New Town; it is documented in sources from 1377. In 1419 the First Prague Defenestration took place here, marking the start of the Hussite revolution. Today, as a contributory organisation of the Praha 2 municipality, it hosts exhibitions, concerts, festivals and wedding ceremonies; the nearly 70 m Gothic tower is open to the public.
