FAMILY THERAPY Healing Theatre by Gabriela Filippi

Family Therapy is a situational comedy written by Gabriela Filippi, founder of the Healing Theatre, about one "normal" family — an actor, a therapist, and their adult daughter who brings home a new love. With great humour and self-irony, the family shares their small joys, big troubles, and deepest secrets, all seasoned with a spiritual perspective on life. The performance touches on themes of parenting, cohabitation after 25 years, sexuality, and spirituality, and is full of songs, mantras, dance, and flamenco. The music was composed by Sofie Karochova Filippi and Lev Borisov Pilsudski, with song lyrics by Gabriela Filippi. On stage you will see Gabriela Filippi, Mario Kubec, Sofie K. Filippi, and Ettore Gallotti. Direction: Gabriela Filippi. Healing Theatre is an independent project without subsidies, entering its eleventh theatre season. The performance in České Budějovice takes place at the Divadlo U Kapličky from 19:00.
