A tribute to Hana Hegerová takes place on Friday, 3 July 2026 at Korunní pevnůstka in Olomouc. Zuzana Němcová Šmejkalová performs the most celebrated songs of the Czechoslovak chanson legend in a new interpretation with piano accompaniment and drums. Korunní pevnůstka is a protected heritage site featuring Baroque fortifications built in 1745–1757, creating a distinctive setting for a summer concert. The Olomouc date is one of nine Czech cities on the 2026 tour, which began in May in Benátky nad Jizerou and continues through August in Prague. Admission from 490 CZK.

About the venue: Korunní pevnůstka

Korunní pevnůstka (Crown Fortress) is a protected heritage site and one of the few surviving parts of Olomouc's original bastion fortifications, built in 1745–1757 on the orders of Empress Maria Theresa. The complex includes a crown rampart with a bastion and two half-bastions, a Baroque powder magazine from 1756, and the remains of an Empire-style guardhouse. Since 2008 it has been managed by the Muzeum Olomoucké pevnosti association, which opened a museum, the interactive science centre Pevnost poznání, and an open-air amphitheatre seating nearly 900 people.
