"....I'll Catch You, Lavender Love...." A Tribute to Hana Hegerová

This chanson recital by Dana Chytilová commemorates what would have been Hana Hegerová's 95th birthday in 2026. The queen of Czech chanson left behind a legacy of unforgettable songs. The programme includes classics such as Milord, Lásko prokletá, Levandulová, Čerešně, Denim Blue and more.

The accompaniment features Radim Linhart on piano, Zdeněk Fišer on guitar, and Vít Fiala on double bass. Both Fišer and Fiala worked directly with Hana Hegerová during her lifetime.

The evening culminates in the launch of a new album, "V mladé duši spoutaná...", which brings together Hegerová's chanson classics alongside new original compositions by Dana Chytilová. The album's godfather is Richard Pogoda.
