Girls' War is an immortal comedy by František Ringo Čech, or how Alois Jirásek never saw it. In the 1980s, František Ringo Čech took a well-known Czech legend and reworked it so thoroughly that essentially only the title, some characters, and a single sentence remained. Yet he managed to infuse the legend with far more optimism while keeping the story's plot intact. This theatrical play quickly became a great audience favourite and a successful comedy, and is now one of the most frequently performed plays by both professional and amateur theatre companies in the country. Performed by Divadlo Okko. The performance takes place at Divadlo Karla Hackera on Klapkova Street 26, Prague 8 – Kobylisy. Tickets are available for online pre-purchase or are sold before the performance.
