Girls' War

Girls' War is an immortal comedy by František Ringo Čech, or how Alois Jirásek never saw it. In the 1980s, František Ringo Čech took a well-known Czech legend and reworked it so thoroughly that essentially only the title, some characters, and a single sentence remained. Yet he managed to infuse the legend with far more optimism while keeping the story's plot intact. This theatrical play quickly became a great audience favourite and a successful comedy, and is now one of the most frequently performed plays by both professional and amateur theatre companies in the country.
