Čestmír Suška – Páteř

A monumental wooden object resembling a split tree trunk permeates the space of the Žatec synagogue. Čestmír Suška's work oscillates between interior and exterior, between solid matter and its disruption. The exhibition connects the sacred space, the sculptural object, and the urban landscape.
