Violin recital by Marie Magdalena Fuxová presents a programme that bridges Baroque with compositions from the 20th and 21st centuries. The programme features Rosary Sonata No. 16 – "Passacaglia – Guardian Angel" by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber, Dance by Krzysztof Penderecki, Polish Caprice by Grażyna Bacewicz, Late Hour by Ondřej Kukal, Requiem (dedicated to the victims of war in Ukraine) by Igor Loboda, and as the highlight Sonata for Solo Violin by Sergei Prokofiev (presented for the 135th anniversary of the composer's birth).
