About: Pauline Oliveros

Pauline Oliveros (1932–2016) was an American composer and accordionist, a pioneer of electronic and experimental music. She developed the concept of "Deep Listening," a meditative approach to sound and improvisation. Her work had a lasting influence on contemporary experimental and minimalist music.
