The official warm-up party for the COAL festival (13th edition, Žermanická přehrada) takes place on 15 May 2026 at Rock Café Jablunkov.

The evening's headliner is British producer and DJ Optical – co-owner of the darkstep label Virus Recordings (which he runs with Ed Rushem) and a key figure in the neurofunk genre. Local support comes from BEA and Teya, plus Garnie:c, Džanes, Gabi1998, DoDo and The Drumbreakrz.

About: Optical

Optical is a British DJ and music producer known for his work in drum and bass, particularly the darkstep and neurofunk subgenres. Together with Ed Rush, he co-owns and runs Virus Recordings, one of the most influential labels in the harder end of drum and bass. His productions and DJ sets are recognised for their dark, technical, and hypnotic sound.
