Music in Churches - Ostrava Přívoz

Violinist Marie Magdalena Fuxová performs a solo recital on Sunday, 17 May 2026 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Ostrava-Přívoz. This is the second stop of her three-date Czech tour, which began in Prague and continues to Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. The church, built in 1896–1899 after designs by Viennese architect Camillo Sitte, dominates Svatopluka Čecha Square with its two slender towers and provides an ideal setting for classical music. The programme spans works from the Baroque era to contemporary composition. Admission from 300 CZK.
