Book Launch: Naháčci

Dorota Ambrožová (* 1994), screenwriter and author whose debut "The Last Summer" was nominated for the Magnesia Litera award, presents her second book "Naháčci" published by Listen. This is autofictional prose at the intersection of uncompromising autofiction and tender essays – 115 pages in fourteen short chapters. Ambrožová explores experiences from the early childhood of her two sons and captures the everyday reality of Czech mothers: loneliness, endless fatigue, insomnia, the second shift at home, and the impossibility of balancing motherhood with a career. The text originally emerged as an audiobook for Radio Wave, and was further developed by the author for the book edition.

The book launch takes place at Café nacucky! on Dolní náměstí 42 in Olomouc. Slovak singer-songwriter Terez Frecerová will perform at the launch. Books will be available for purchase on site. The event is baby-friendly.
