1st Summer Concert

The summer concert of the Jihlava Chamber Orchestra of the G. Mahler Philharmonic takes place on Sunday, 5 July 2026 in the Gothic Hall, a medieval chamber located beneath the historic centre of Jihlava. Conductor Jiří Jakeš presents a programme ranging from classical works to film melodies, with Vladimír Holeš as moderator. This performance is one of three Czech dates for Jakeš this season: following a June concert in Valeč, the Jihlava event is followed by a final appearance again in the Gothic Hall at the end of July. The hall is situated within Jihlava's extensive system of medieval underground passages and ranks among the city's most distinctive cultural venues. Admission from 300 CZK.
