600 Kč · ≈ 25 €
The LEGO Museum Tábor has created a brand-new Star Wars exhibition, currently the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic. Visitors will see dozens of models from the Star Wars universe enhanced with lighting and sound effects – the exhibits glow, flash, shoot, and roar with engine sounds, all accompanied by music. The exhibition is part of the museum's extensive collection, which includes over 3.5 million LEGO bricks and hundreds of original models organized into themed sections: LEGO Architecture, LEGO Technic, LEGO Ideas, LEGO Friends, and more. On display are world-famous buildings such as the Statue of Liberty, Tower Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, and the Taj Mahal, as well as faithful replicas of Tábor landmarks – the Beneš Villa (over 20,000 bricks) and the Střelnice restaurant (over 100,000 bricks). The museum is located in the historic heart of Tábor in a national cultural monument on Špitálské náměstí, spanning over 200 m². The visit includes an interactive play area and children's corner where kids can build their own model. Tours can be enhanced with accompanying quizzes (Fairy Tale Quiz, Find EMMETT, World of Butterflies). The recommended tour length is 45–60 minutes. The last tour starts 60 minutes before closing time. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Schools, kindergartens, and groups can book a time by phone at +420 602 697 207 or by email at info@muzeumlegatabor.cz. The museum also has a shop selling limited and exclusive LEGO sets that are not commonly available in regular retail stores.
