CASTLE SUMMER FESTIVAL

The Castle Summer Festival in Křinec is a multi-genre cultural festival organized by the Castle Summer in Křinec association in the Křinec Castle complex — in the castle park and courtyard. The festival was initiated by actresses Lenka Vlasáková Dolanská and actor Jan Dolanský, who joined forces with friends from the Verze Theatre (Jana Janěková, Igor Chmela) and actor Tomáš Novotný from the Culture for Křinecko association. The festival programme traditionally features theatrical performances in the castle courtyard, live music concerts and afterparty, an all-day food festival with local vendors in the castle park, guided castle tours, and a rich supporting programme for children (bouncy castle, face painting, craft markets). The festival takes place annually in August, and in 2026 it will be held as part of celebrations marking 20 years of the castle in private ownership.
