A triple concert as part of the Jazz Černošice 2026 festival (21st edition) at Club Kino Černošice. Šavle Meče Big Band is an original Czech musical ensemble formed in autumn 1994, playing energetic fusion of rock, jazz, funk and blues. This "funky mini big band" combines rock rhythm with a five-piece jazz brass section and is nicknamed the "Czech Blues Brothers". Over more than thirty years of existence, the band has performed dozens of concerts throughout Central Europe. Libor Šmoldas Quartet features a leading Czech jazz guitarist with 11 original albums to his credit and regular performances at prestigious festivals worldwide. The quartet consists of: Libor Šmoldas – guitar, Mikuláš Pokorný – piano, Petr Dvorský – bass, Jesse Simpson – drums. Jon Kenzie & Jan Korinek and GROOVE brings to Černošice an acclaimed singer and composer from Manchester whose music draws from blues, folk and soul. Jon Kenzie has released four solo albums independently of record labels. In Černošice he is joined by Jan Kořínek on Hammond organ and a brass section. Club Kino is just 15 minutes by train from Prague city centre and features excellent spatial acoustics.
