Bike Gathering on Vysočina – 23rd Edition 2026

Bike Gathering on Vysočina is a traditional weekend cycling event for mountain bike enthusiasts, organized since 2002 by Turbošnek Team NM&ZR (z.s.) from the Nové Město na Moravě and Žďár nad Sázavou region. The 23rd edition takes place in 2026, this time with accommodation in Vír.

Friday arrival kicks off the weekend, with Saturday's main ride on the HARD route (80–110 km) through Vysočina's most challenging terrain – featuring significant elevation gain and mostly off-road sections. Sunday's ride is typically shorter (approximately 70–90 km, elevation gain around 1,100 m), also mostly off-road, with a lunch stop. The event is not a race – it is a friendly gathering of cyclists and a shared ride. For less experienced riders, organizers are considering an EASY route (voluntary entry fee).

The weekend includes Saturday evening socializing with grilled sausages, a barrel of beer, and a raffle draw (for pre-registered participants included in the weekend entry fee). Entry fees in previous years were 300 CZK for the full weekend or 100 CZK for one day without raffle; for 2026 the organizer will specify details in the regulations. A helmet is mandatory throughout the shared ride – participants without one will not be allowed to start. It is recommended to bring a mobile phone and a map of Žďár Heights. Due to capacity constraints, organizers recommend early registration, which also secures accommodation at the venue. Registration and current regulations are available on the Turbošnek Team website.
