Staré Ždánice Chateau opens to the public as part of the nationwide Open Gardens Weekend (13–14 June 2026). The garden is located in the village of Staré Ždánice between Hradec Králové and Pardubice, next to a small romantic chateau. This charming castle garden delights with its picturesque setting and well-maintained corners, featuring several sandstone sculptures and a traditional dovecote on a pole. Guided tours will be held at the chateau, and admission is voluntary.

Staré Ždánice Chateau is a former Neo-Renaissance residence of the miller family Prokešů from 1877, which Baron Nathaniel Filip de Aras transformed into a romantic chateau with twelve rooms, a music hall, and an ornamental garden. Open Gardens Weekend is an annual nationwide event held on the second weekend in June. In the Czech Republic, it has been running since 2010 under the auspices of the National Heritage Institute.
