An exhibition of paintings by artist Jana Havlíková, who returns to the exhibition hall of Švihov Castle after several years. Jana Havlíková was born in Prague and has lived and worked in Třemošná since 1973. She has had a strong connection to painting since childhood; from the 1970s onwards she has focused on working with oil paints. Her distinctive style is folk realism with a characteristic hand and a keen sense of colour. She has presented her works at solo and group exhibitions, and her paintings are held in private collections not only in the Czech Republic but also around the world. The current exhibition presents a selection of works by the artist, a member of the Association of Visual Artists of the Czech Republic. The exhibition runs from 1 April to 31 May 2026 in the exhibition hall of Švihov Castle (in the outer ward premises, in a former stable adapted as an exhibition space).
