Guided Tour: Baroque Opava

A guided tour of Baroque architecture in Opava, organized by the Opava Cultural Organization (OKO). The lecturer is Martin Pavlíček from the University of Hradec Králové. Participants meet at the entrance to the Municipal House (Ostrožná 46, Opava). The tour lasts approximately two hours (10:00–12:00) and takes visitors through the city's most significant Baroque monuments — historic churches, palaces, and other architectural masterpieces. Opava boasts a rich Baroque heritage, including the Church of St. Wenceslas with Baroque frescoes on the vaults from 1732–1737, decorated with paintings by Wrocław artist Ignaz d'Épée.
