A night tour of the Renaissance White Tower takes place on the first Saturday of each calendar month from 20:00 to 24:00 – the June session is scheduled for 6 June 2026. The tower stands 72 metres tall and is the highest landmark of Hradec Králové; 233 steps lead to the gallery. From this vantage point, visitors enjoy views not only of the city but also of the distant peaks of the Krkonoše and Orlické Mountains. During the climb, you can see a unique glass model of the tower made from 500 pieces of glass (weighing approximately 1,000 kg), the bell Augustin – over 500 years old and the third-largest historic bell in the Czech Republic – and the original clock mechanism built by Josef Božek in 1829. Coin-operated telescopes (10 and 20 CZK coins) are available on the gallery. Admission: 90 CZK (adults), 70 CZK (children), and 200 CZK (family). Advance booking is not required; the last visitors are admitted 60 minutes before closing. For safety reasons, the number of visitors at any one time is limited to 30 people. Groups of more than 15 people must book their visit in advance by phone or email.
