Bijásek at Kino Vlast in Frýdek-Místek presents the puppet fairy-tale film "Hurvínek's Journey to Tramtárie" (Czech Republic, 2026, 54 min), made to celebrate the 100th birthday of the legendary Hurvínek. The film is a recording of the same-titled theatrical production by the Spejbl and Hurvínek Theatre, which premiered in 2003 and remains in their repertoire to this day. Director Vojtěch Frič filmed the production on multiple cameras, edited it dynamically, and enriched it with special sound effects.

Hurvínek and Máničk set out for the distant Tramtárie — once a fertile flower kingdom struck by devastating drought. The vain Princess Gerbera has fallen ill with sadness, and the sprite Parlamentář announces that everything will turn for the better once someone makes the princess laugh and brings her "blue from the sky". The situation is complicated by the fate of the little dog Žeryk, who is threatened by a carnivorous plant. On their difficult journey, Hurvínek and Máničk meet the Lord of the Wind, the Lord of the Clouds, and the Lord of the Springs, and gradually understand how the water cycle works in nature. The fairy tale is accessible without age restrictions and is performed in Czech.

Admission: 80 CZK (adults) / 60 CZK (children).
